Few male models can get away with just having a singular name. Aitor is one of them. But what makes Aitor unique other than his catchy, singular name?

Well, for one, it's the brooding good looks that made him a standout. When you browse carefully at his editorial and fashion campaigns, it's his being imaginative and confident that made these photoshoots more than just images. He also has a commanding presence on the runways.

Most of all, it's the intelligence he possesses and the courtesy he displayed when he deals with just about anyone he encounters.

MW: I guess our viewers from Spain are quite thrilled to learn that our latest Interview at ModelWatch is with you, tell us, how did you began modeling?

Aitor, Actually, I started modeling because of my ex-girlfriend. She practically forced me to go to an agency. That was after I just finished my degree.
MW: What would be your first modeling project?

Aitor: My first job was a body shooting for HEINEKEN. Now I thought it would be like a normal shooting but then it was like a great experience.

MW: Even though somebody basically convinced you to apply to an agency, personally, was it easy for you to be convinced to become a model?

Aitor: Oh, it was pretty easy. I liked it from the beginning. For one, it is not like a real job. I feel lucky doing it, it's cool. At the beginning I wasn't serious about it, now I am.

MW: Tell us about some of the modeling stints you have done that really made you feel good being a model, perhaps you could list down some of your favorite modeling assignments so far?

Aitor: Favorite Editorial photoshoots: L'UOMO Vogue, GQ Italy
Favorite Campaigns: KOTON (Istanbul)
Favorite Runway/Catwalk shows: VALENTINO, GIANFRANCO FERRE
Favorite models to work with: All of them, nice people every where.
MW: What have been your impressions about the agencies that represented you? In particular, tell us your experiences being managed by GROUP?

Aitor: I'm happy with Group, They are serious and professional people. We make decisions together, I like that.

MW: With your accomplishments as a model, do you have any particular project you wish you could do, a dream assignment perhaps?

Aitor: Right now, I would love to do a parfum campaign in somewhere like Hawaii, Amazonas, Cataratas de Iguazu. For a big brand (CK, D&G, HUGO BOSS....)

MW: Will you accept an assignment that would ask you to have some nudity?

Aitor: SURE! Why not.. (if it's good money!) I wouldn't say no just because I need to go naked. I actually wouldn't mind
