Represented by the highly-regarded Page Parkes, Ashley said of himself: "I was born in Dallas, but raised in Houston. I like having fun and I am a very social person and hate being by myself. I have to be around people a lot, I guess I get really bored easily...."

Jed: Describe your very first modeling experience. What was it like, where was it held, and how were you discovered?

Ashley: My first job was working the runway here in Houston at the Radisson Hotel for a designer from New York (Alia Khan).

Jed: Was it easy or difficult for you to be convinced to become a model?

Ashley: I was somewhat easily convinced. People have always said I should try it out and I am willing to try almost anything once. So I figured a little extra money couldn't hurt. Plus, working with beautiful women didn't seem so bad.

Jed: Perhaps you could list down some of your favorite modeling assignments so far?

Ashley: I would have to say that doing runway bookings feels pretty good. You are in front of a live audience so it's kind of instant self-gratification.

Jed: What are the reactions of your family about modeling? Is this a factor that somehow influenced you over your professional choice?

Ashley: My family has always been supportive of what I do. My mother was probably the main factor in pursuing a modeling career.

Jed: If given the choice between Milan, Paris, London or New York, which fashion capital do you wish to be known as a top model?

Ashley: Ashley: If given the choice, I would have to say Milan.

Jed: What have been your impressions about the agencies that represented you? In particular, tell us your experiences being managed by the prestigious Page Parkes?

Ashley: So far so good. I have really enjoyed working with everyone at Page Parkes. From the start everyone has been very nice and friendly. They have also been very honest and have not tried to promise the world to me like some agencies out there will try to do.
