Model-Max wants our visitors to know that it is now ourpolicy to follow those who made comments & to comment back! While thispolicy is aimed to enliven the discussion, we also reserve the right to deletecomments that only aim to spam.
We want our readers to react to our post, and in returnwe'll return the favor! This I Follow movement is not our original concept, wewere fortunate to discover this movement from one of the blogs we have visited.The movement originated from web designer and blogger Randa Clay, and here's the essentials:
Almost all blogplatforms by default are set up so that a "dead end" piece of code is insertedwherever there is a link in a comment, so that search engines will not "count"the link as they are crawling the internet. This was originally designed tohelp stop comment spam, but it doesn't work. What it does is remove some of theincentive for your readers contribute to your site by commenting on your posts.
What can you do about it? Turn off "nofollow". Show your commenters that you appreciate them. Spread the link love.
Articles: All articles and reviews submitted to Model-Maxfor publication will become property of Model-Max, in a non-exclusive manner.
MODEL-MAX SET OF STANDARDS FOR SUBMITTING CONTENT: In orderfor an article to be accepted for publication, it should meet the standards of Model-Max:
1. The article is the original work of the author. While itmay include quotes and information from other sources, it is written by theauthor for submission to Model-Max.
2. The article is informative and has entertainment valueand will be enjoyed by most Model-Max readers. While entertainment value maybesubjective, it means that readers of the article will learn something new orunique about its subject. The article may also allow the reader to betterappreciate the work of a model, talent manager, agent, photographer or fashiondesigner, as the case maybe.
3. In the case of models' profiles, it should containinformation related to his work, including awards and other forms ofrecognition, news of upcoming modeling gigs and other relevant informationincluding a small amount of personal background, trivia and tidbits, but not tothe extent that such information can be construed as denoting an invasion ofprivacy. Sexual undertones, malicious gossip, rumors and discussion of intimatepersonal relationships are to be avoided;
4. In the case of film reviews, spoilers are to be avoided.Although some plot elements will be revealed in order to grant the reader abasic understanding of what the film is aobut, it is Model-Max policy thatreviews should not reveal crucial plot elements that will spoil theentertainment value of the film for those who have not yet seen it. Profanity,obscenities and spiteful remarks are to be avoided at all cost. Criticism ofother reviewers or their reviews is also to be avoided. While it maybe necessaryto mention reviews, this should be limited to instances where the inclusion ofthe remarks serves to add to the critical analysis of the film.
5. The Editor-in-Chief is tasked to handle the qualitycontrol of articles. All articles will be subject to quality control and copyediting, but modifications are generally limited to grammatical errors andspelling. Owners of articles will be consulted if there is a need for a majorrevision, otherwise, changes which are made will be done as part of Model-Max'scommitment to maintaining a high standard quality and professionalism.
6. A major revision will be deemed to have occurred when thetone, style or other features of the article are altered to the extent that theoriginal intent of the author is significantly modified. In this instance,authors have the right to withdraw their articles if they do not agree with themodification.
Only the Editor-in-Chief can recommend major revisions to anarticle. As is the practice with editors of printed publications, the editorcorresponds directly with the writer and discusses any additions, deletions orrevisions to any portions of the article or review.
7. If there are disputes related to the publication and/ormodification of an article, it is the task of the partners and owner to makethe final decision regarding publication of the article.
8. Model-Max accepts articles from authors in good faith,and assume that these articles are original works and that quotes, informationand other details from various sources and/or other publications are dulyacknowledged. Since we respect the copyright properties of other sites andpublications, we also expect other sites to respect ours. Legal action will beinitiated if original articles are copied by other sites and/or publications withoutthe prior written approval from the Model-Max owner.
COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS: Model-Max respects the intellectualproperty of others. In is the event of a dispute as to the originality of anyarticle published at Model-Max, a writer, author or publisher can start initiatea claim regarding copyright infringment by addressing the same via an emailaddress assigned specifically to handle such issues:
